Jody Maskiewich, RMT

Jody (2)-2Jody graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy 3000hr program in 2004. She returned from 2009-2012 as an Instructor in General Orthopedics, Athletic Therapy, Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Kinesiology and Manual Skills II.

Jody has extensive experience working with all levels of athletics. Olympic, National, Provincial and Regional. She has worked with the CFL BC Lions for 3 seasons as well as the Vancouver Whitecaps. She has also been a part of the medical staff for the ITU World Cup Triathlon, BC Summer Games, World Police and Fire Games as well as volunteering with the Burnaby Eagles Footy team. Jody has competed in many sports: soccer, volleyball, basketball and continues to compete at a high level in the sport of Curling. She knows what it takes physically and mentally in the off-season, pre-season and post-season to stay on top in sport. She was awarded the honour of BC Female Athlete of the year in 2010 for her hard work on and off the ice.

In over a decade of hands on practice, Jody has had the opportunity to treat many different conditions and injuries and prides herself on returning people back to their sport or regular activities as efficiently and effectively as possible. She is also a mother of two and understands the balance of life and work and how we each need to be at our best physically to be at our best in all aspects of life.
